Comminuted Subtrochanteric Femur Fracture Treatment: Canwell Tri-Max Solution

The patient, a 33-year-old male, had a comminuted fracture of the left subtrochanteric femur caused by a traffic accident. The patient underwent internal fixation of femoral intertrochanteric fracture by using Canwell extend Tri-Max proximal femoral nailing system, and the operation went smoothly.

Due to a traffic accident, the patient developed pain, which was persistent distending pain, and was unable to move actively. Diagnosis shows: multiple fractures, comminuted fractures of the distal humerus and left proximal humerus, and left intertrochanteric and subtrochanteric comminuted fractures. Considering the patient is relatively young, the internal fixation should be removed after the fracture healed. After discussion, it was decided to use the proximal femoral union Internal fixation by Tri-Max proximal femoral nailing system (extended version).

The C-arm showed that the reduction was perfect. The operation time is 40 minutes, a duration significantly shortened by Tri-Max. At present, there are many methods for treating intertrochanteric fractures, but the Canwell Medical Tri-Max proximal femoral intramedullary nail is one of the best choices. There are three proximal locking methods for one main nail. Intertrochanteric fracture has the characteristics of small trauma, firm fixation, high fracture union rate, satisfactory clinical effect, and few complications.
